Thanks to the unwavering passion and generosity of our community, this year’s Walk for Wildwood was an extraordinary success, raising more than $62,000 to empower individuals that Wildwood supports.

This year the Walk for Wildwood will take place on Saturday, September 26 at Cook Park in Colonie. Check in begins at 9 and the Opening Ceremony and Walk begins at 10.

This week, Wildwood celebrated the 40th anniversary of our Delmar residence. This house was the second Wildwood residence to open and has supported individuals since 1986.

At Wildwood, our team works tirelessly year-round. But for one special day every year, we hit the pause button. Staff Day is our dedicated time to step away from our daily routines, relax, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

On Monday, June 1, 2026, Wildwood hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially open its newest Day Habilitation facility.

In early May, Special Education Teacher, Sam Opalka was honored with the Carolee Wilson Scholarship Award.
