The young adult level recognizes the importance of supporting students and their families as they transition into the world of adult services. Students and families work collaboratively with classroom, transition, and work-based learning staff to explore, develop, and prepare for meaningful post-graduation outcomes. Program design reflects a dynamic range of opportunities that allow students to strengthen and apply their skills to everyday life in both classroom and community settings. Highly individualized in nature, the program is designed to build on each student’s interests, strengths, abilities, and personal choices while fostering greater independence and confidence for adulthood.
