Social Work

The Social Work Department at Wildwood School provides counseling and education for students in individual and group sessions to enhance students’ social skills, emotional intelligence, and developmental play skills. We provide therapeutic support to help increase self-awareness, self-esteem, and assist students through crisis situations. Additionally, we partner with families to provide vital resources, counseling, advocacy, education, consultation, and referrals for services both within the school and in the community. The department works in collaboration with teachers, other school therapists, nursing, the transition department, service coordinators, district personnel, and outside providers to ensure a holistic, multidisciplinary approach.
